Day Three - 20 November

Today was our first day at work in Seoul. The TI offices are in theTrade Tower and are located on the 28th and 29th floors. They're directly across the plaza from the hotel, so we could walk to work. There are some spectacular views from their offices including the Han river, the city, and Olympic Park. We spent all day on SAP training, and a pizza lunch was catered in --- sausage pizza with a sweet yellow sauce --- with sides of corn and macaroni and cheese! After work, we walked back to the hotel, and went to our room (Debi and I have rooms next to each other --- Rooms 820 and 818). But, we couldn't open our doors. The keys didn't allow access. So, after a few minutes of cussing and trying to make them work, Debi noticed we were trying to open the doors to rooms 1820 and 1818! We were still so tired that we couldn't even get off the elevator onto the correct floor! All we could do is laugh! So, after being adventurous the past couple of days, we decided to just go have a hamburger at TGI Friday's for dinner but there was an adventure after all since not many Korean waitstaff know what mustard is! Should have seen me trying to explain yellow stuff you spread on a hamburger bun! Finally, after three tries, a bottle of French's finally arrived! After dinner, walked a mall and found a Tex-Mex restaurant that maybe we should have tried instead ... considering the quest for the elusive mustard!! Was an early evening with my Close and Consolidation presentation scheduled for first thing Tuesday morning.
